Needed support, including home set-up, initial and ongoing training, provision of childcare equipment and assistance dealing with day-to-day challenges are provided. Work from home, choose your hours and the families you want to care for.

Professional development

Lifelong learning is very important. As our community grows and changes, home child care providers and families must be aware of appropriate ways to handle a variety of situations. Prodivers are required to do at least one training program per year, document and review the impact of the strategies set out in clauses on children and their families. In addition the agency may have training to learn more about a variety of topics and activities. All staff are required to be Standard First Aid and CPR Infant Level C trained. Training is provided and upgraded annually or as required.
