National Child Care Plan

The full implementation plan will be phased-in over the next 5 years.

The main focus of the CWELCC is to reduce child care fees for families with children under the age of six (as well as children who turn six years before June 30).

All families with children under the age of six, as well as children who turn six years before June 30, will receive up to a 25% discount on their child care fee, retroactive to April 1, 2022. The rebates will be administered when we receive direction from our municipal partners in Peel, Toronto and York Region.

Families with children in centre-based care, and in home child care, are eligible.
